Thumbs down What are 1/2 inch "walking threads" in my substrate? Have seen two.

I am a newbie, I have community tank with fish, snails and shrimp. Today I noticed 1/2 inch skinny things (like walking threads) in substrate. What are these? Are they bad?

Usually a type of worm. I honestly wouldn't worry unless they start crawling out of the substrate.

They are also crawling on the glass. So far only two or three.

as for the creepy crawlers I wouldn't worry about them to much . one of your fish will make a good snack of them,
