29 gallon and 20 gallon

I have a stand for a 29 gallon tank that can hold another tank on the bottom.

Can someone tell me if the dimensions (length and width) of a 20 long are the same as a 29 gallon? I can always measure it at the pet store, but its easier if I go knowing what i need, because which pet store I go to will depend on whether or not I'm getting a 20 gallon tank.
