Acrylic Aquarium experience needed!!

I just acquired a 55 gallon acrylic aquarium. I noticed that the front and back panels seems to be "bowing" from pressure, even without any water in there.
Is this normal? Is it warping? Can I fix it by laying it down on the floor and use a hair dryer to warp it back to shape? Is it even safe to use this tank anymore? This is my first acrylic tank so I'm really at a loss.

Post a picture of the tank. I've seen acrylic tanks do this. Usually because material was substandard or a design flaw.
