Activated carbon and API fungal cure

I recently got API fungal cure to relieve a fungal infection on one of my fish. Product actually worked great! The spot is now completely gone. However, my water is stained a deep green. The box said to do a 25% water change and add fresh activated carbon, which is what I did. The green didn’t budge after 30 mins, so I did a 50% water change again. Still not much of a change 10 minutes later. How long does it take for this stuff to clear up? And is the activated carbon even removing the green tint? Any help is appreciated, thank you

Did it clear up? I know API Furan 2 does the same thing.

Yes it did. Ended up killing one of my fish but it cleared up. Hoping my other fish are okay as well

Sometimes meds will do that but the alternative of not doing anything a lot of times has the same outcome. Good to hear they are better now.
