is it ok if i put an airstone in a tank with hornwart?

in general, the only reason airstones are 'bad' is if you're also injecting CO2...the airstone will remove too much CO2, thus wasting your time.

sounds like your setup isn't CO2 injected, so like yeah its fine, even beneficial.
