I am at my wits end with the Eclipse 3 hood that I have on my 30 gallon Sea Clear aquarium. I have had two failures of the lighting assembly. Both assemblies failed within a week of first use. Now Marineland wants me to send the old one back at my expense before they provide me with a new one. What I would really like to do is get rid of it, but I am not sure what a good alternative is for the setup I have. The Sea Clear aquarium does not have the frame of a glass aquarium where I could mount a traditional hood, filter, etc. Some pointers here would be greatly appreciated.
