anyone have experience with these lights?

saw them at walmart in the lighting area.
for plants and aquarium usage.
f20 t12,7500 lumens, I dont know what that means.
the lights I know are t8 6000k and t5ho.(around there) which most planted aquarists' use.
any input? still trying to learn about. lightings, wattages, etc.

They're lower output than any other type of fluorescent light bulb on the market. They can still grow low light plants in shallow tanks but aren't nearly as good as a simple screw in CFL. They were standard 10+ years ago.

oh dang. ten years is a long time back. it can still grow java ferns, crypyocorynre and moss right? silly question.

They can. I much prefer the normal daylight bulbs from walmart or Lowes, though.
