Anyone heard of this??

to me that looks like just a UV steriliser, though ive never used one myself
 
They say it uses bubbles (I guess from compressed air) to "bust" the algae cells instead of using UV. Sounds like another gimmick since they also call for a clean up crew. Not sure why they call them biomolecules.

Yes, I have one installed on my tank, since setup.. Releases a fine mist of bubbles - will not eliminate algae entirely, however I do not have hair algae or the typical algae issue that drives aquarists mad.. You need to install this at setup - not when you have the algae issue.
 
I wouldn't use a uv sterilizer anyway just big waist of money IMO
put that money towards coral or more live stock
 
I can see UV if you had a microbial problem but a good clean up crew will do anything else you need. Even still, a microbial fog tells us something else is awry.

It was just something I came across in a shop over here. Maybe i'll try it in the future. I'm not interested in UV's myself. I agree with you on the money but coral is no good to me, I'm a freshie....lol
 
Saltwater guys are addicted to corals, I'm addicted to tetras. :D
