Anyone out there use T-5 lights? Need advice.

I'm trying to decide what kind of lights to get for my new tank. Anyone out there have T-5's? What was the deciding factor for you? Are you happy with them? Do they put off as much heat as MH? I'm going with a canopy on top the tank and am worried about heat off the MH so I'm considering T5's but I don't know. I want to be able to keep SPS.

I have t5's on my 75gal 4 of them along with a pc. I love them very bright, i've just started with corals so don't have any long term advice. They are under a canopy my temp never varies more than 2 degrees.
