Anyone use the Marineland Aquarium Light Timer? questions

http://www.bigalsonline.com/catalog/...d1=1843;pcid2=

quick question- will this cover both sockets? I only need my lights on a timer, but need the other socket for filters and stuff.

If its the same one that I have, it doesn't cover both sockets. I have my power strip plugged into one socket and my light timer into the other. I have enough room to plug my timer into the power strip if I wanted to, so this might be an option to be considered.
