I just purchased the API Tap Water Filter and am wondering if I still need to use a water conditioner with Prime?

I just purchased the API Tap Water Filter and am wondering if I still need to use a water conditioner with Prime?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say I think you would need something like Prime. I've included links in case someone knows better.

They seem to be a combination of resin and carbon which I could see removing any ammonia, nitrite and nitrate or chlorine respectively. However I don't believe chloramine would be removed.
