Hi there,

I'm Looking into buying a used 55 gallon setup that I've noticed on Craigslist. It comes with a stand, lighting, sand, fake plants, full freshwater test kit, bubble stone and air pump, 200w heater, extra substrate, breeder chamber, and a Rena xp3 canister filter. Could anyone give me an estimate of what I should be willing to pay? Thanks.

I usually see used setups for 55 gallon with stand, lights, etc for between $100-$200. Personally, the only thing worth anything is going to be the tank/stand/lights. Everything else is worth nothing. I'd be ok with $150...

Ditto....I wouldn't give more than $150 for it

Anything that comes with the tank, that is worth using makes it worth a LITTLE BIT more. The Rena filter is about $150 to step out and buy one. The rest of the stuff, as posted doesn't add any value to the deal. If everything is in good shape, and clean. I would think $150-175 would be fair. If you get it for less. BONUS!!
