Why do some filters say just aqauclear and others say fluval aqauclear? Is there any differencethey look the same?

I believe that Hagen is the parent company of both Fluval and AquaClear. What you are seeing may be a transition in packaging and labeling.

Yup. The Fluval branded boxes have a smaller picture that says "formerly" on them.

It is actually store specific branding. I spoke to a haven rep about it yesterday. Specific stores are asking for specific branding. Mainly Petco and Petsmart.
