All,
I am hoping someone can help me out with my skimmer problem. I have had the Urchin Pro for 8 months now and I think the injector needs to be cleaned because it doesn't skim like it used to . . .
I was told to unscrew the white piece and clean that out and everything should be back to normal. Unfortunately, that plastic piece will not turn and the plastic is actually just tearing apart instead of unscrewing. So, I've tried to rinse the skimmer with hot water to try and clean it some but still it doesn't skim much. I am seeing a lot more algae in my tank as well so I can attest to the skimmer's value, but now I need it fixed!!!!
