Aqua C Urchin Pro vs Turboflotor 1000 vs ASM G-1

It seems these 3 protein skimmers all cost about the same - approx $200.

Which would you pick for a 72 gallon? I was going to get the euro-reef but the sale fell through (private party!)

Which one has the highest skimming capabilities?

Easiest to set up & adjust?

Easiest to maintain?

I appreciate your comments - I know this subject gets asked ALL THE TIME, yet I can't really find comparisons between these models.

Thanks!

I can only speak for the Urchin Pro, but I will say it is an excellent skimmer. I have mine on a 72 gallon as well and have been very happy with the results. It is basically just plug and play, no real adjustments needed. The only thing you will need to adjust is how high the collection cup is. I have not heard of a skimmer that is easier to set up, adjust or maintain, but I don't know if the Turboflotor has better skimming capabilities or not because I have never used one.

If you do decide to go with the Urchin Pro, make sure you get the Mag 3 pump.

The ASM G1X will out skim them all for a great price. It is basically set it and forget it.
