Aquarium plumbing???

I have a 110 gallon reef ready tanks. The tank has 2 built in overflows and each over flow has two 1 3/4" drilled holes. How should I be plumbing this. I have been thinking of finding a cheap 55 gallon and build it into a split wet/dry filter system. I also want to tie in a UV light canister inline somewhere.... Anyone that can give me some suggestions please feel free... I currently in the process of repairing this aquarium so you may see my other post too...

Check on Melevs reef, he has some great information on building sumps. That will get you some great ideas.
