Question Aquarium pump/vacuum/cleaner

So I've taken your advice and just did an 80% water change with treated tap water. As a reminder I have one goldfish in a 7.5 gallon tank. My fish is acting a little erratic 😕 But I was unable to get all the uneaten food out. It's mostly seaweed from a strip I put in there. I'm using a hand pump I bought on Amazon. Any other recommendations?

It is a pain to vac a tank that small because you run out of water before you are done.

Which one are you using now?

Aquarium vac

A Terapump that I got from Amazon. I'm not having good luck with it.

I just use a fuel-pump type one. Pinching the tube will sometimes be enough to slow down water flow so you can cover more gravel.
