Aqueon syphon broke!

Anyone have this problem? It broke in such a weird place. I started screwing it on my faucet like I always do and it just broke.

Here's a pic of where it broke..

That is silicon on it when I attempted to fix it.

Here's a pic of an unbroken one to show you exactly where it broke.

It's hard to see but it didn't break at a joint or any connection point or anything, just in the middle of the plastic.

Has anyone seen this before? Do you think Aqueon would replace it?

Mine did the same thing. I just used the adapter for the sink to fit the threads, then used the part that you screw the hose on to. I always just put the hose in the tub or out the door to drain anyways. works great for me.
 
I would try Aqueon but unless your a recipt keeper and it wasnt too long ago that you purchased it. Other wise its what mdfrookie says or they do "sell" the replacement parts seperate. Ive got one too and am hoping this isnt the story with all of them.
