aqurium salt

hi guys. i have 2 plattys and 4 guppies. i was just wondering whether i need to add aquarium salt? i add all the other needed substances. ie. tetra aqua safe.( makes water safe for fish) and i add fluval cycle biological enhancer. on every water change.
i was just wondering whether im supposed to add aquarium salt because im reading some people add it and noone has ever mentioned to me to add it.

I only use aqua safe but pond+ (It's cheaper for me)
That and filter wool.

Salt will change the hardness. It has uses but good care will negate its purpose.
