Back Up Power

I want to add a back up power device, like APS. I currently have a 30 gal tank and planning to pick up a 150g soon. What size APS should I get that can cover these tanks and all the equipment? I know it depends on the equipment but can I get a general idea? Thanks.

A 1500 VA UPS powers one of my canister filters for less than an hour.

It is great for very short outages but not a legitimate backup solution.

As Brookster123 states, a generator is what you really need.
