Has anyone put a background on either of the Evolve nano tanks?
I have two Evolve 4s sitting side by side on a desk. Planted tanks with one male betta in each.
They were spending all their time flaring at each other, so I placed a piece of blue plastic in between the tanks. Problem solved, right?
Nah. Now they are flaring at their own reflections in the acrylic. The flaring isn't constant, but being in attack mode is stressful for the fish.
I'm putting plain blue and plain backgrounds on two other tanks today, and will have enough left over to do something with both of these tanks.
I hate to ruin the open look of the tanks, but I'd like to see if this would help.
