BeamsWork LED 400, Current USA Dual Ramp Timer

I have a 24" beamswork led 400 on my 20 long right now. I'd love to be able to control BOTH the bright and the moonlight mode with a timer. Current USA makes the Dual ramp Timer that can do this with 15 minute ramp times. The timer is supposed to work with the marineland double brights, which the beamswork is said to be identical. Can someone comment on if this will work like I want? I'd hate to buy it (online only) and have it not work.
