I was perusing eBay and saw these.

Oceanic Biocube 29 Aquarium fan upgrade kit Plug & Play | eBay

Since the beginning of my cube I've had my temperature at 80 or 81, do you think these fans will improve the airflow by enough to help cool off the tank? I usually keep the front and/or the back doors up but would love to be able to close them

Anyone else do a fan upgrade? If so did it help?

Thanks :-D

That looks fine to me. What I did was buy two 50x50x10mm computer fans and 2 3-to-2 pin adapters (most new computer fans come with a 3-prong end) and plug and played those, much quieter and much more powerful than the junk stock ones that constantly came off-balance and made an awful rattling/grinding sound.

Coolerguys.com -- Your Computer and Home Theater Cooling Source for Over 10 Years is the site I used and it was I think $15 for everything shipped.

Now I can't speak to the quality of those fans you linked purely because I don't have experience, but I definitely know upgrading keeps my hood much cooler as well
