Brass piece for python

Just curious...do the big name stores (or even LFS) tend to carry the brass piece from the python that screws in to the sink? I haven't used my python in ages and I can't seem to find the piece. I'd call but I am in the library and will be for quite some time. This is my way of procrastinating . I can order it online but if I can save the $7 to ship a hunk of brass then I'd be more than happy to.

I've seen it in the store, but you're probably more likely to find the plastic version.

Some LFSs carry them, the petsmart here does. The plastic version is also available - both work, I have both and tend to use whichever one I find first.

Yeah, it's like that. Would that fit on a python? The Home Depot is much closer to my apartment than any Petsmart. If it does, I'll just go there.

it adapts the faucet to a standard 3/4" hose thread which is what i think the python screws on to. i don't know for sure since i dont use one.

Hmm I'm looking online and can't seem to find the dimensions of it.

yep, thats what I used... i got mine at ace for about $1.50... just a simple adapter

Great, I'll go over to a hardware store then and I'll take a look. So the measurements in that home depot link are the right ones?
