Broken heater

Hi. My freshwater, tropical fish suffered a 8 Centigrade drop in temperature when the heater broke! All ok, except 1 Silver Dollar, now swimming upside down near the surface of the water. Any advice? Thanks

It might not be from the temp drop. what kind of fish whats your levels at? What size tank. how many fish in the tank. How old is fish?

oops thought said one Centigrade drop still the above is important

Also, daily water change add hot to warm water to rise temp

I have 100 litre tank that I've been running for 12years. I got 3 silver dollars 6months ago. Apart from the big temperature drop, have just treated it for fin rot. The other 2 are fine. I also have 2 garra fish, a bristle nose plec & 8 neon tetra & they're all ok.
