Bubble filter leakage...

Well, for £3.99 I didn't expect much, but, where the air hose connects to the filter's air-inlet, there seems to be a gap in the moulded joint. So after reading about cyanoacrylate (superglue) I was wondering if it's ok to dab on a little gel glue and pop it in a glass of water to cure it? Tanks...
