Bubbler placement

Hey there. Just a couple general questions. Is it better to place the bubblers in front, middle, or back of the tank?? And is it bad if bubbles are being sucked into the filter or should I avoid placing them near the intake??

I don't think it really matters as long as they are not being used in place of a filter. They mainly are for decoration or in planted tanks to diffuse leftover co2 after lights cut off.
