I have always had my water tested at my lfs but that has been getting annoying and people on here are always speaking of using your own. I was wondering what brand and kits you use and if there is a great price online? Thanks for your help!

Is this for FW or SW?

I can recommend SW kits..
Salifert

For Salinity
Refractometer

PH
Digital ph monitor

All of our sponsors have excellent prices ;)

Oh yeah sorry, that really would have helped if I specified ha! Ok well its fw
thanks guys

I've had good results with the basic Tetra test kits...ie..pH, hardness, nitrate ammonia etc. Some kits are better at testing some some of the more complex components...ie iodine, copper, magnesium...all I've ever tested for in my FW tank is pH, hardness, phosphate, nitrate and occasionally ammonia.
