Calcium Reactor

I have just started a new calcium reactor and I have my effluent drops at a steady flow my alkalinity is at 10.5 trying to get it to 9.5
I set my C02 at about 1 to 2 bubbles at 4 to5 sec

Should I speed up my effluent drops to drop my alkalinity or increase the C02 any help would be much appreciated

Oh and forgot I have my C02 linked to my apex controller and I have it set at 6.7 on and 6.5 off
