Canister Filter + Chiller Questions

Hello all,

As I get closer and closer to my new 75g Hillstream tank being completed, it looks like I am going to have to install a chiller for the tank.

I've seen conflicting reports that you can just have the chiller on the outflow line of the filter. The tank is already full of hardware and I really don't want to put another pump and separate outflow system into the tank if I don't have to.

Will a 1/4 HP Chiller work combined with a Fluval 406? Will I have enough pressure? Too much? Any other issues?

Is a separate plugin regulator the best way to make sure that the systems don't fight each other? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HXM5UAC...v_ov_lig_dp_it

I am looking at this chiller https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004LPMOTU...v_ov_lig_dp_it

to couple with this filter

Thanks for your help in advance!

I'm looking at possibly adding a chiller to my tank and from what I see people put the chiller inline with the canister filter. Filter outflow to the chiller intake then the chiller outflow to your co2 or uv.they say to put the co2 and UV at the end of the line. After looking at specs on your chiller and filter it lokks like that setup will work together. The chiller recommends a pump between 158-670gph and that filter runs 383gph. I am not experienced with a chiller so please don't take what I say as absolute.
