Can someone help me, I wanted to just get a light for my refugium and I've heard where I could just use a regular lightbulb for it. I want to grow some microalgae. Can I go to Lowe's and just by and regular lightbulb and be okay?
Please if you can tell me if I need a specific kelvin or something for the lightbulb thank you

I use a clamp lamp and a 6500 k swirly bulb from home depot on mine. That's what was recommended to me and it works great

it grows the algae? Im trying to get the one that will drain the ntirates , the stringy ball one. And thank you honatek!
