Cleaning a mouldy tank

Hi everyone, I am new to all this and find it fascinating. I have been watching my friend starting up her new tank and seen some of the disasters that can happen, so have decided to have a hospital tank as well. I have acquired a tank which is dirty, smelly and has black mould. Advice on best way to clean would be very much appreciated

Fill it up with water, add some bleach (enough to make the water feel slippery), let it sit, scrub it with a plastic pot scrubber, drain and rinse well. If there are mineral deposits, vinegar applied directly a full strength will help remove it.
