Cycle question

So I have a tank that is cycled and been running for few months now. I am now setting up a second one and was wondering what would be the best to used for established media for the other one to speed the cycle up a but. I prefer not take take anything out of the filter in the tank that is established. It has sand in it could I put some in a filter bag and put that in the other tank any ideas are welcome.

Some of the sand would be perfect. I use gravel to help cycle my new tanks.
