DIY 10g mid to high out put light?

So my 5 gallon tank might be upgrading to a 10g as I found a gem of a 10g stand in the back of the ag shop and the teach gave it to me for free. So I'm debating on going to buy a empty 10g fin Walmart, not the kit as I'm picky in my heaters. Anyway I want this to be a mid to heavy planted tank as I plan to keep scarlet badis and sparkling gourmais as stock

Awesome thanks! In tempted on just going led as I found the micro sun led ho clamp light on sell and Believe it will work. I mean 50$ for a led light fixture isn't bad. I just have to figure out if the 6in or 12in is better
