DIY metal halide will this work ???

hey i am looking to buy a kit with everything besides a refelctor and buld which i will make the reflector and i want to buy a xm 400 watt 20 k.

I think those would work. You might look at an electronic ballast too. They run quieter, cooler and you can use more bulbs with it.
