drilled drain sizes?

So i'm going to drill my 90 gallon tank and put some bulkheads in. My only problem is I don't know what size and how many I should have for the tank. It's going to drain down into a 55 gallon sump/refuge. Also for the size of bulkheads/quanity what kind of return and return pump GPH should I have? Thanks!

Once you decide how much flow you want (i.e. what size return pump) that will determine the minimum sizing you need on the bulkheads. WHat kind of overflow do you intend on using?

I'm running 700gph on my 72g, I'd recommend at least that much, maybe 1000 on your 90.

OK, I'd say 1000 gph should be a good rotation. What size bulkhead is best suited? Or how many of the certain size?
