Bought this light to clip on my tank to try and brighten up the background. I was told people use the light for something with saltwater but I'm not exactly sure what he said. I just wanted to know if it would harm my fish at all or produce algae like crazy. I will attach a picture of the box and how it is on my tank.

I'm probably just over thinking. But some reassurance would always be nice

what are you asking? will it hurt your fish? no. of course light will not hurt fish. as far as more light producing algae, that depends on the quality of your water mostly. the light itself should not cause issues.

Thank you that's all I wanted to know. Also would I be able to dim it all the way at night? Or is complete darkness good for the fish? Also what is it used for in saltwater?
