Eclipse Fluro Tube for 6g

Hi,

I have an eclipse 6g tank and the light seems to be getting too old and flickering. I was just wondering if any1 had success finding a non-original flurorescent tube that fitted in the fixture from a hardware store, light store, etc?

This is because according to Marineland, they don't distribute to my country (Australia), even though the docket for the purchase was at an Australian store :? Anyways, the cost for shipping would probably kill me, not to mention the fact that since they don't officially sell to where I live, finding parts for it at a LFS, etc, would be hard.

It looks to me like it takes a T5 8W bulb? I would imagine that a local lighting shop or hardware store might be able to help you, especially if you take the bulb along.
