EHEIM Canister filter

I just bought a new never out of the box EHEIM 2236 Canister Filter, for $80.00.
Was it worth it or was I ripped off? I haven't found the 2236 online, so I'm not sure what the full price is. So I was just curious if I got a deal or not.

That's one of the Eccos that one is about 117 on amazon.

Good price for a new one, but I prefer the classic series canisters over the ecco line.

So I guess that means the $80.00 I paid for it at petco was a pretty good deal then.

It was in the clearance bin at Petco. I have enough filters for now, 3 in each 55g tank. But I plan on upgrading to a 90g for my Angelfish and a 75g for my Mbunas and then use one of the 55g as a grow tank. So the extra filter will come in handy.

I've never used any EHEIM filters so I know nothing about them.
