Hello, I'm looking to change the filter on my tank as I currently have an internal corner filter but is like to change to an external filter to give my fish more space.
I have been looking at the canister filters, but I don't know if that's the most cost effective option as I've only got a 55 litre tank and a small budget.
I've also seen the hang on waterfall filters (I've just got one on my new 25 litre betta tank) but it doesn't look like the sort of thing that would be able to handle my bigger tank.
I'd like a filter rated for 100 litres to be on the safe side. Any suggestions appreciated! Thanks!

She said liters not gallons jolt lol.

I would suggest a Fluval C3 or C4 for a hang on the back. Not sure I would bother with a canister on a 26 gallon aquarium.

I have a fluval 106 canister running on my 55litre tank, I'm really pleased with it. I wasn't sure about whether it would be worth getting it but I'm glad I did.
