filter for 10 gal

I recently unpacked my old 10 gal tank and I plan on using it for a hospital tank. What is a good filter that I should buy for it?

I don't know about hospital tanks, but on my 10 gal I run a Penguin Mini. It does very nicely.

You could use a foam Filter hooked to a air pump. That way when your hospital tank has nothing, then there is no bacterias, so throw the foam in your main tank to maintain the bacteria until you ready to use it. Be sure after using it to get all the medicine and chemicals out before putting it in the main tank.

Aquaclear mini, you can add whatever type of media since it is designed to accommodate up to 3 compartments of media. Plus its cheap and quiet.

One more thing about the aquaclear mini is you can run just the foam if you are doin a treatment then add charcoal to remove the meds and the foam will still be colonized with good bacteria.

That seems like the ideal filter, plus quiet and cheap are always good too.
