It depends alot of what and how many fish your putting in?
You can never have too much filtration is something alot of people say... if its for your pets I would say mechanical
hob would be best for the 10 and 15 (5 maybe but its a small tank so im not sure)...
People through change over numbers like 3 cycles per hour or greater for freshwater or 5 cycles or greater for salt.... ie 15gal tank x 3 cycles per hour means at least 45
gal/hour filter
but im sure you could through at penguin 130 on it it would be fine
