Filtration Questions

Guys I have some questions in regards to my current build. My setup up currently has a refugium/sump that is being used as str8 refugium. It also has a Reaction 4 Canister Filter with a UV light, this filter has 4 stages which includes Filter Floss, Carbon Chemi Pure, More Filter Floss and Biological Ceramic Rings.

The question is:
Do I need to add additional filtration to sump? What has been your experience with this style of canister filter? Does it suffice for 120 Gallon.

Imo if your running a sump with a refugium the other filter isn't needed.

Ya a sump is all you need, with a refugium that's even better. If you want to go overkill or just want better filtration make an algae scrubber. Best piece of equipment ever, took me an hour to make, should've taken 10 minutes but I screwed up lol. Dropped my nitrates from 100 to 20 and they are still declining. They don't rise in between water changes. That plus a quality skimmer would be awesome. That's my setup.
