First time Aquapod user, setup question

Ok, just picked up a 12 gallon Aquapod to do a small planted tank setup. Is there supposed to be some kind of tubing that runs from the pump to the outlet in the tank? Mine didn't come with that....and obviously with the pump just dangling down in the bottom, there isn't any water flow going on at all.... I'm assuming there is supposed to be some kind of tubing. Going to pick up a Maxi Jet 900 powerhead for this this week, guess I'll get tubing with that if I need to. Can anyone confirm/deny my thinking here? Thanks!

Well, managed to use some Eheim filter tubing to connect the pump to the outlet and it seems to be working fine. I've got the water flow turned almost all the way down, not sure I'll need the other pump for a planted tank....

Now I just need to deal with the water chemistry before adding some fish...maybe next weekend.
