Fluval 306 Hose replacement

Yes, I need to know what size hoses (clear/vinyl) fit this filter. I need to install a inline uv filter, which won't be possible with the ribbed or corrugated hosing. If anyone has replaced their lines, what size did you use?

Everything I've read is that 5/8" vinyl tubing should work to replace the corrugated hosing. I'm sure someone else who has actually done it will chime in soon if I'm mistaken though.
