Fluval FX5

Hi

Im looking to replace my canister filter. Has anyone had experience with this one. It looks good, but just want some advice.

I should mention that its for a 180 Gallon planted discus tank.

Cheers

Fantastic...one of the best canisters available, and dollar for dollar, the best buy, too.

I've been running a FX5 for 6 months now and I love it! It really moves the water and does a fantastic job cleaning the water. Easy to clean the filter and self priming which I really like.

Im so glad that you guys said that, because I just bought it!

Its great. Very smooth and quiet. Cleans really well and the self priming function is fantastic. I almost bought an Ehiem, but couldnt justify the price.

Thanks for the replies.
