Fluval seq ps1 protein skimmer

Hey guys ,

Just recently purchased a fluval sea ps1 protein skimmer. How long does it take for it to start collecting the foam??? I had it running for about 8 hours and nothing?!?! I'm to new to swa. Also what does the nozzle for the airway do? Any advice on protein skimmers are great!!!

It took my mine almost a whole week before it started foaming

Wow!! It takes that long ?? I heard u can put vinegar to speed up process? Where should I leave the collection cup on?
