Fluval Spec III

I am looking at getting this tank for my betta. Is this a suitable aquarium if I set the filter pump to low? And I was also wondering if there are any member pictures that any of you guys have? Or if there are any plants that would go will with some river rock and some driftwood? What are the plant recommendations for this tank? That will grow with the light and that the betta will enjoy?
