I recently bought 2 brand new XM 10K DE lamps, I dont plan on using them; just selling. I only paid $56 for the pair. They came in the mail today and both of them look "foggy" in the centers. Is this normal, does it go away when fired?

Not sure what you mean exactly, but bulbs are test fired before they leave the factory so you will see some kind of scorch/burn marks in the envelope.
Can you take a pic of the bulbs?

I tried to get a picture of it but you cant make it out in the picture. Maybe a better way to describe it would be light condensation inside the lamp. There are some white marks, probably from where it was fired.

Even tho these are SE bulbs, the inside should look similar.

This is a newer bulb with only a few hrs on it.

Okay, thanks. They do look similar to that. btw What kind of camera are you using. I couldnt come close to getting a pic that close without them blurring and its 10.2 mp.

Here's pics of two brand new 10k DE bulbs. The first one is a USHIO the second one is one of the cheap bulbs available on eBay.

Btw, these pics were taken by my iPhone <g>.
