I dont have a clue where to post this one, so forgive me if there is another place for this question:

Im so used to metric system that I dont even know how big is gallon... I usually thought that one gallon is equal to 4.54 Liters.. recently I found information that says - one gallon is equal to 3.785 liters... which one is it?

1 gallon [US, liquid] = 3.7854118 liter is correct (to be precise . . . lol), but for future reference, I use this site for conversion of pretty much anything to anything (volume, temp, speed, money . . . you name it)
